What is My GSXR’s Top Speed?

I think I am going to start this post with a little joke so I hope you gonna enjoy it because if not then next time I need to be more funny. So… In the grammar school the teacher asked the children: – What is the fastest thing you know? First child: – I think the light. – “You are clever that’s a nice answer but anybody knows a faster thing?” asked the teacher. Second child shouted with his hands up high: – The thought. – That’s a very good answer I knew you are smart. Everyone agrees with this? Then the third children stood up from his chair and said: – Excuse me but I think the fastest thing in the world is the shit! – “WHAT?” – asked the teacher whit huge surprise on his face. – “Why do you think that is ?” – The child replied with a bit shame on his face: “Because yesterday a shit my pants faster than I thought.” End. Seriously a lot of people are not aware of what is their GSXR’s top speed. I can imagine two possible answers why this is. The first can be that they never ever tried to ride that fast because they were scared when three digit numbers started to appear on the display within a blink of an eye so they eased on the throttle. The second answer can be that when they went fast they couldn’t look down because that sport car in the same lane on the motorway was closing in at such a high speed that they barely had the time to avoid the collision so they had to concentrate on the road. Of course there are exemptions who are brave enough for a quick glance and I can imagine their faces when they noticed that the digital speedometer was constantly showing 299 km/h but their GSXR bikes were still accelerating. Actually it is a very common thing with Suzuki bikes because those which are not able to break the 299 km/h speed limit probably were restricted by the manufacturer in order to comply with the tight government regulations. But if you have a good mechanic friend who knows a bit about his job then he can free the engine to run like a wild horse so you can taste the speeds that few has the privilege to feel. So next time if someone asks you about the top speed of your GSXR don’t hesitate to tell them that it is faster than shit.
