GSXR K4 – The Solution for Race and Long Distance Riding!

I would like to speak about the “F” word. Fast – is what I want.  Faster – is what I want more. Fastest – is The Suzuki GSXR K4. That’s what I really want. This is the bike which makes you feel the burning desire before you actually begin the ride. The GSXR K4 has extremely good capabilities because it handles awesome, the acceleration can be described rather brutal than fast and has enough points to fix your luggage. Overtaking a slow moving sport car in front of you takes just a little less than the time you need to think about it. The top speed of the GSXR K4 is a bit ridiculous but with a positive meaning. The question is not how fast you can go with it but how fast you dare to go with it? Would you like to get a useful advice? Get a strong lock, a modern alarm and a safe garage to protect your pride because if someone knows just a little about the bike you have then they will want to have it with a passion. You have to protect yourself as well because to tell the truth when you ride this missile you are going to be very vulnerable. You will be able to quickly overtake vehicles that are already travelling above the speed limit so your licence and your freedom will be soon in danger. If you are going to use this bike in every kind of weather and in every kind of situation then it will greatly lessen your ego when you are going to figure out the fact that this machine is far better than you in everything you would ask it to do. So you can use this bike as tourer but almost everyone knows who have ridden a Suzuki K4 before  that the real fun begins when you come down from the motorways. The bike is capable of impressing you pretty much when you are on a less busy road curving nearby. Just take a look at the fairing and you will see the magic sign GSX-R, written with large letters because it is used as a warning to approach this animal with care. Therefore it shouldn’t be a surprise how this racehorse handles. It’s size and power contributes toward the great comfort and on the field of design Suzuki made a good job because this bike casts powerful emotions. The incredible stability through long bends will give you such a warm feeling of confidence that you will push it harder after every curve. You can really feel the thrill of rapid and aggressive direction changes and the power is simply more than enough to make you feel the front wheel a little bit to light most of the time. These less used roads also have an advantage to show a bike’s weaknesses as well. Let me put it this way. The GSXR K4 is just too fast for most of these roads because of the instant acceleration. Even if you try to ride it gently these roads will make you brake hard more and more often. There was one “bad” bit to complain about on early GSXR bikes. They lacked a bit on braking power. They tend to heat quicker than other bike’s brakes and therefore the stopping power wasn’t that good compared to other motorcycles. On this bike this issue belongs to the past. The braking power is more than enough to swallow the force of speed within a blink of an eye. The calipers were mounted radially to maximize the stopping power. This bike is the king of a litre sport bike category with its sound, handling, power and forgiveness.
