The Suzuki GSXR 750 K6 Brings a New Dawn for Speed Lovers!

· Filed Under GSXR Suzuki 750

Just to continue the line of the GSXR 750 motorcycles now I would like to write about the GSXR 750 K6. First of all maybe you are wondering why should you choose a 750cc bike because it is not as strong as the 1000cc motorcycles but heavier than a 600cc bike so really the question is WHY? The answer is because it is just as agile as the 600 but it doesn’t fall too short on the power of a 1000cc gixxer. In fact if you compare this bike to the others on the racetrack then you will be amazed by the capability of leaving everyone else in the dust. Let’s see the other reasons why you would want this GSXR motorcycle. As almost with everything the first impression counts and in fact this bike just somehow managed to look good. It does look small as well but after a quick glance you will see it demonstrates the power it has. Luckily Suzuki didn’t follow the underseat exhaust fashion and instead of it they used a tiny pipe just under your right leg and a lot of people reported that it is actually louder than some aftermarket exhausts. The headlight got a new design and the front indicators are still sitting in the mirrors and the rear ones have a nice place surrounded by the sharp fairing. However the space under the pillion seat is really small it is a hard work to fit your waterproofs there and it is almost impossible if the alarm has been already fitted there. On the technical side there were some major improvements compared to the last year model. Usually the target is to squeeze more power out of the engine and to make it weigh less but without the compromise of the handling and Suzuki managed to do this again. The engine is shorter from top to bottom by 32mm and by 60mm from front to rear. It has got a secondary balancer shaft to successfully tackle the vibrations and it has higher compression ratio and a slippery clutch just to make you happy. It seems like the adjustable footrests come as standard nowadays. The engineers made the chassis 15mm shorter and lowered it by 25mm. The bike still has the analog rev meter and it has got a gear position indicator as well which is such a useful tool for most riders because it saves you from forcing your bike into seventh gear when you just got six. New bikes now have an immobiliser fitted and it isn’t different in the GSXR bikes. Basically you need the right key which communicates with the black box or else you have to replace the whole engine management system with all the wires as well. Times are getting tough for thieves but there is still a long way to go to eliminate the number of nicked bikes totally. When it comes to riding experience I would say it is the totally standard Suzuki one. What standard means this time is a very smooth gearbox matched with an effortlessly powerful engine spiced up with incredible strong brakes. The riding position as you would expect is on the sporty side but without the usually associated pain what riders used to experience on most of the sportbikes. The suspension system works perfectly on every road surface just to give more confidence to the rider in order to push it harder. There are no scary moments just rock solid stability in every corner. Even if the back tyre starts to lose grip you can make necessary corrections very easily and without an extra heartbeat. Just to make it clear if you decide to buy the Suzuki 750 K6 then you are going to get a compact bike which is just as perfect for everyday riding as smoking the opponents on the racetrack.
